I loved all of these images!  My favorites are the ones of the Cathedrals & Castle?  I am curious about the old cemetary and if you were able to translate the words on the statue/monument.  Thanks for sharing these!

@diaryofamadwhitewoman2 - I did find some infomation on that very old cemetery next to St. Mary's Cathedral in Limerick on the internet, but no translation yet for the monument on the Sarsfield Bridge over the Shannon River.

Dad, thanks for taking the time to post these! How cool to actually SEE Ireland! Where in Ireland did you fly into? I laughed when I saw "Captain Jack's Coffee Shop" !!

The churches were cool and I liked the cemetery stone. I nearly giggled when I saw that the signs are still in both English and Gaelic!!! Such a cool language. I was alwasy sad that I wasn't able to learn it. See you friday!!

@sisterdays - We flew into Shannon Airport.  Perhaps I should call it Airport Shannon!  We speak of the Shannon River, but there it is more common to hear it referred to as the River Shannon.  See you Friday!
